PROVIDENCE, RI - Rhode Island's Office of Energy Resources announced today that the City of East Providence will receive a 2015 Clean Energy Future Award for the Forbes Street Landfill Solar Project constructed by SolBright Renewable Energy. The award recognizes statewide leadership in the generation of emissions-free electricity, and once again confirms the successful model of repositioning municipal landfill as revenue-generating solar assets.
